Program Description

This ESA-Approved program is designed for students ages 14-22 who are currently enrolled outside of a public school system to aid in the transition to adulthood. This is an interactive program which introduces skills in the areas of time management, employment, banking, budgeting, transportation, living accommodations, personal wellness and safety, emergency situations, socialization, and others. The program assists in front-loading the student about expectations, responsibilities, and pathways to assist them in identifying and achieving their highest level of independence as an adult. Students will meet once a week for 2-hours at a designated location for 12 weeks. The program consists of 8 weekly in-class training sessions- the other 4 weeks will be used to attend scheduled field trips for real-time socialization and critical thinking activities. REQUIREMENTS: 1) Students must be between the ages of 14-22 AND enrolled in a non-public school setting; 2) Students must commit to attending the entirety of the 12-week program; and 3) Students MUST have reliable transportation to and from training/field trip sites. IEP-Hope, Inc. does NOT provide transportation. FEES: Fees are charged at an hourly rate per student for each session attended. Monthly invoices will be submitted to parents for payment. The training program will be scheduled when a MINIMUM of 4 students are enrolled. Enrollment will remain open for 2 weeks after program is scheduled or until a MAXIMUM of 12 students are enrolled. Fill out the form to reserve your student's seat for the next training session. For more details about the program, application process, and fees, please contact IEP-Hope, Inc.
