Program Description

Understanding Article 7, IDEA, and the IEP process can be overwhelming and confusing which often makes parents rely on others to make the important educational decisions for their child. You are an invaluable member of the IEP committee because nobody knows your own child's strengths, weaknesses, struggles, triggers or behaviors better than you do! You know what works for your child, and you know what doesn't- learning how to share that information with the committee to develop an individualized educational plan for your child's success. A strong advocate can make a huge difference in helping a child to achieve their individual best... be "that" advocate!
